The Kingdom of Bhutan is a country in the Himalaya, in southern Asia. Its population is 785.123 and its capital is Thimphu. Article 9 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan states that: "The state shall try to promote those conditions that will enable the pursuit of Gross National Happiness."
